Earlier this week I got to speak to a group of Chief Medical Officers from children’s hospitals across the country. They asked me to analyze the pediatric subspecialty shortage, so that’s exactly what I did.
We hear a lot about physician shortages of all kinds, and my goal for this talk was to provide a data-driven overview of the various faces of the pediatric subspecialty shortage… then deconstruct some of the fluff and rhetoric to identify actionable solutions and real targets for advocacy.
